The rules for the uniform issuance of promissory notes

In a convention held in Geneva in 1930, the rules for the uniform issuance of promissory notes have been signed.  Aside from the usual terms and rules regarding the parties involved, the rule states that the instrument should state the time of payment and the place where the payment should be made.  The note should also include the name of the person who will receive the payment or the payee in the check or other payment form.

The promissory note should also include the date and the place where it has been issued; and most important of all is the signature of the maker of the instrument.
